CLASS ACT: Children at High View Nursery having a Teddy bears picnic for Children in Need.
Staff and youngsters at a Wearside nursery are celebrating after being labelled good during an inspection.
High View Nursery in Fulwell was praised by Ofsted inspectors for having good overall standards and levels of care.
The private nursery in Viewforth Terrace caters for 55 children from six weeks to four years old.
The report said the children made "good progress in their physical development" and were cared for in a "well organised" and "secure" environment.
The nursery offers "calm, consistent" surroundings, where toddlers are "happy and settled", according to inspectors, and the "quality of teaching and learning is good".
Ofsted found that links with parents are "good" and that children had a "positive attitude towards others".
Katie Chapman, assistant manager, said: "The staff, parents and children have been fantastic and this report reflects on the high standards throughout the nursery."
